We are pleased to offer all 45AMG owners a great introductory group buy special of $895 (regular pricing is $1195). We will require 10x members to sign up below for the Group Buy price to take effect. The ECU must be sent in to OE Tuning in Huntington Beach, CA for tuning. Same day turn around guaranteed on all ECUs that arrive before 12 noon PST.
From tuning the ECU alone gains of +68wHp @4550rpm (+43wHp peak Hp Gains) and +102wTq @3500rpm (+30-35% extra Torque) were seen to the wheels on the dyno. More information, dynographs and video of dyno can be found here:
Fair enough. We should do a full comparison between the two to see what each tune offers both on paper and in real life as a whole. Determine what you get for your money.
I'm more than willing to offer up my car for that test.

i would like to see this info as well.
thought EC OE HG and MHP all had the same tune??
& the Weistec tune has shown to make the most power. 401whp on terrible 91 octane to boot. MHP might have a cheap tune but they are banned from this forum and almost every forum on the Internet for a reason. They even tried to sneak in here through a fake username "Killac63" and were banned by the mods again.

Weistec's numbers are with a tune, downpipe and midpipe. The numbers that were posted up on my dyno were just tune alone. Getting one with the downpipe pretty soon.

Edit: what dyno are they using? Doesn't look like a regular dynojet graph? The gains are solid
I had both Weistec and OE tune on my c63 they were both great and never had any issues with them. I doubt the downpipe will give a ~50whp difference but will be nice for comparison. Is this your car they tested on the dyno?
Dyno is a 4x4 Mainline. One of the best dynos to tune on.
Awesome the graphs seemed different to me. Im assuming it used some built in algorithm to estimate what the numbers would be on a dynojet?
Ive seen baseline A/CLA45's putting down from 315 to 330whp on dynojets depending on fuel so your baseline number looks accurate and the gains are great ! Especially considering its on 91 octane with a car that's relies on a lot of boost. How much more power do you think is possible on good quality 93 octane that the rest of the US gets? I've seen big differences on 91 vs 93 on boosted cars
Also does the Flash affect the shifting/TCU at all? The 45's have an annoying tendency to short shift the gears in S auto mode especially the 2-3 shift. I have had it shift at under 6K rpm when the limiter is more like 6,600 rpm in manual mode. It makes a big difference going into the next gear being 500-700 rpm lower in the powerband. If the flash can change that it would be a HUGE selling point.
so these are not all the same ECU can tune?
if not then who's is the best??
I already suggested the companies do a throwdown and get some good comparison numbers. All we have to do is wait and see if anyone bites now. I doubt it'll actually happen, but ehh, what can you do. Might have to be up to us owners to do the tests ourselves.
