The very first Alpha Performance component for the Mercedes-Benz 45 Series AMG (A/GLA/CLA45) lineup is now available with more to come in the near future! We began with an obvious hindrance to the performance of the 45 AMG series platforms which happens to be the stock intake air filter assembly.
The factory intake was designed conservatively in an effort to muffle intake and turbo sound. Unfortunately, in order to do so, inside diameter of the inlet is reduced to a suffocating 2.6 inches! Man... to have you guys get in on the CLA45 platform just made my day! Friend of mine runs your Alpha 7 tune on his GTR and another the Alpha 10. Can't wait to see what you guys are able to do for our 45AMGs.
I'm sure it would. The rebellion system has a very similar design the piggyback tune should be able to account for the Alpha intake as well. Might be worth asking Matt directly tho.
20hp for an air intake alone sounds a little too good to be true actually. I would need more proof of that as previous attempts with air intakes have only given marginal gains.
For those not familiar with us there is one thing we dont play around with...numbers. The chart we are showing is a very conservative engine HP estimate. However even on the dyno we picked up a peak of 17whp and over 20-25whp in areas. This was by no means a glory run either. We actually threw out the highest after filter chart and the lowest stock chart to display the averages of both before and after.
Putting our name on a product means a great deal to us. When we advertise a number, you can trust you are going to get every bit of that out of our products or MORE.
As you can see in quite a few areas we are exceeding 20WHP let along 20hp at the engine. This is nothing more than our intake on a bone stock car with a bone stock tune.

I would be more than happy to have these results in my GLA 45 with a relative simple intake upgrade, to say the truth and I am well aware of AMS and its reputation! Do you have a torque chart to show us also?
Brilliant product, so glad you guy used dry media filter too! Oiled filters are a thing of the past.
Goig from 2.6 go 4.0 especially on a turbo car will definitely yield those results. And I am glad you kept it a true cold air by retaining the stock airbox.
This looks interesting, but I'm a little apprehensive on jumping in without a regular dynograph w/torque & RPM numbers.
Any chance that might come up in the near future?
That is a regular dynograph, there is no RPM or torque because we could not get a tach signal during the test. Really nothing to be apprehensive about. We have been around for over 15 years and have worked in many platforms. We would never risk our reputation by advertising incorrect numbers.
