Well, I mean at least they kept the physical buttons...They got rid of the trackpad and I still don't know what is that middle area for, I heard it is for business cards, coins? I asked this question before for example: https://mbworld.org/forums/gle-class...refresh-2.html

Yes... the CLA will get this interior when its updated. The car will get the latest version of MBUX... and all those cars are losing the track pad. I think the idea is that voice commands will be better. So in quite a lazy fashion... Mercedes just took out the trackpad and surrounding buttons and replaced it with a shallow tray. 😔

It looks cheap in real life photos. And no it's not a wireless charger. It's just a shallow tray.
