Few notes:

Coming from a LOADED C-class from 06, it is shocking (and kind of upsetting ) that the CLA will get all those driver's assist options. Do the current W204 C's get these options as well? I couldn't even pay MB to get a rearview camera!

The Edition One looks to have a manual transmission??

2014 CLA
I haven't been able to find an official release date yet and my local dealer knows nothing about it.

Does the CLA come equipped with a true dual clutch transmission? If that's true, it's the only car in the MB range other than the SLS to have DCT.

Dude, that's a seven year difference. Most of those assists didn't even exist back then, or weren't made widely "desirable"

Seems like a standard equipment. My guess is all cars will eventually shift over to this DCT. I like!

Besides the A-class based interior, it will be an upgrade from the W204.
It could be a sign for a very promising and exciting W205 in the future...

True seven year difference, but keyless-go was an option in the top of the line cars since '03, just never trickled down to the W203. I think parking assist was available in non-US W203s?

Well if you add up all the add on`s the base model gets into the $40 grand range. I rember when the 2008 C -Class came out and P1 $1500 and sports pkg was like $1200.
