CLA250 rated 26 mpg city, 38 hwy
The Mercedes site shows the CLA250 at 26/38 mpg. Pretty good compared to the C250 I have now. This model should sell well for Mercedes.

Real World mpg
I have had my CLA for about a month. I have been experimenting with the different driving modes i.e. eco and sport. In eco mode I am getting approximately 31 mpg. This is a combination of city driving, ~70%, and highway driving, ~30%. I haven’t had a purely highway test yet, but expect it to approach 40 mpg.
The sport mode shaves 3-4 mpg off of the eco mode results.

We've had our CLA 250 for almost 3 months now. With careful driving the best combo mileage I've seen for a short/medium trip (about 300 mi) was 39.5 mpg. Leaving tomorrow for a trip to Cincinnati (I live In Gainesville, FL) so I will get a better idea of how good she is on the highway.
I can't get over the looks this car gets. And most people think this is a 80k-90k car. Blows their mind when I tell them their fully loaded Accords and Camrys cost about the same.

Update: After a trip of about 3k miles the best mileage segment I can report was 39.8mpg over a 450 mile blast. Taking into account that most of that section was 70+ mph, I'd say that was very good. After 11 days in this car, I love this car!
