One car designer decided that the little CLA desperately needed to become a pickup truck.

umm.... I have mixed feelings, I guess. Looks different and that makes it interesting to me. As stated, I doubt it would do very well, however, seems MB is rolling the dice lately with adding new segments. Most of there new vehicles are a love it or hate it design and this Ute would fit right in.
