CLA250 LOCK OUT
Car is 2016. Yes! It is possible! Car will lock with key inside and engine not running: So today I did my usual - tossed my briefcase into the car on the passenger side, put my travel mug in the holder, closed the door, and walked around to the driver side to get in. NO DICE. Locked out. The car never beeped, blinked, or complained. And - of course - MY KEYS WERE IN THE CAR IN MY BRIEFCASE! As was my wallet and my phone. It was a really fun evening. MB roadside actually used a slim jim on the window. Totally old school. And they charged me - which I will be discussing with the dealership in the morning.

Wow - never had mine do that...but even at a car wash I was always worried they would lock the keys in the car, so I signed up for the Mercedes ME app on my phone. Not expensive yearly - I can lock and unlock my car remotely when I need to.
