Just got a CLA250, and I want to change the center console
Hey guys. I recently purchased a 2015 cla 250 4matic. I love the car and it’s an absolute beauty in and out , but I’m just not a fan of the center console , the two compartments hiding the cup holder and cigarette lighter to be specific. I was thinking of getting a rubber mat custom made to sit over top of them, edge to edge , with a nice border. after I get the mat I want to cut a hole in it and the big compartment cover and buy a rubber cup holder to sit inside , and then at the front right I want to add a wireless charging pad, and the front left will be a place to put my keys. I’ve attached a picture of the console, I guess try to imagine it covered with a stylish rubber mat , with the Mercedes logo on it.
Now that you have the information, I was looking for advice and recommendations on getting a custom size rubber mat, or silicone, just something that looks stylish and is a slight trapezoid shape to fit the tray.
this is is a rough drawing of what I want, with the grey circle being a cup holder and the rectangle the charging pad, but done In a stylish maybe striped rubber mat , and maybe a divider after the cup holding in the middle , and on the right side I’d put my keys.
so if anyone has any resources or a link to custom order the mat id really appreciate it.
