Hi, after some advice on the break assist function limited message. My CLA is a 68 reg, myself being the 2nd owner (was with a Mercedes member of syaff before) few months after having the car the message came up. Took to local dealership, stated they had taken bumper off and advised it was a system update that was needed. The message is now coming up again, took it back to garage to advise a collision code has came up and that I will now need to pay to have the bumper removed again and for them to investigate further as someone could have lightly tapped the car and moved the sensor. Has anyone else had the same sort of experience? Doesn't seem right as somebody could have hit the car slightly before I had it. The message keep appearing then disappearing.
