Rattle when starting
Hi
every time I start my cla, there is a rattle which lasts about 1 seconds till it starts. Any ideas what it could be. It doesn't seem to be from engine

Where about is the sound do you mind sharing a clip of how the rattle is, does outside temperature or cold/warm start affect it?

See if you can duplicate the sound, record it from different places of the vehicle and see where is it the loudest, that might help us figure out what it is. Sometimes the vibration of the engine when starting up might shake a loose trim or something causing the rattle if you are sure it isn't coming from the engine for example.
