Hi all i have a Mercedes cla200 2014 1.8 diesel automatic with the 724 gearbox and I’m looking to swap out my gearbox for a used one and so I am hoping someone can help with a couple of things.
I am hoping with the correct gearbox that I can simply swap out my original VGS-FDCT TCU into the used one and away i go into the sunset.
I can get hold of one with exact part number A2463708602 But the (what I think) gearbox code is slightly different…. Mine is 724003 and the used one is 7240022. Also the used one is from a 1.6 petrol and mine is 1.8 diesel.
Please can anyone confirm anything here. Would be greatly appreciated. Will add picture of my original gearbox numbers. Thanks
