A180 abs inoperative see owner’s manual
Please can anyone help me diagnose this fault? It seems to disappear at random times and when I take it to my local mercedes garage they just say there is no fault found and decide to charge me Ł70 for the service. If anyone knows what it could be please help me out !!

Has your battery been replaced or died recently? I've read about older Mercedes that if the battery died or replaced etc then occasionally this is one that lights up. Also, when do you see this light come on, or is it always on?
Otherwise, you can still do the following:
1. Start the car
2. Turn the wheel all the way to the right and then all the way to the left.
3. Do this a couple of times with the wheel turning
4. Turn off the engine
5. Restart.
Do you have a brake light switch around or above the brake pedal? If so, that would be my next replacement - the switch is only a few $'s.
Otherwise, you can still do the following:
