Screeching sound on down slope
Hi All
First time here. Did post this query in other forum but no response.
I am driving a 2018 A-Class.
Last week, as I was driving down the ram at a multi storey car park, I heard a screeching noise. On winding down my window, I confirmed it came from my car.
I am not sure why. I press the brake likely as it rolled down the slope but seems to be bitting more than anticipated.
Once on the flat ground, the screeching stop and all seems normal.
What do you guys reckon? Thanks in advance.

But it sounds like high pitch metal to metal (brakes). Will need to monitor further I guess.

If it was metal to metal brakes it would screech every time you hit the brakes. That's not what your original post described. I've been to many big events parking at many parking garages with such ramps and the screeching noise you originally described is very common to hear as cars exit the parking garages going down the concrete ramps on their rubber tires.
