Heater blower not working W169 2006

Hi....my heater blower is not working. I've checked all the fuses everything seems ok. I have connected 12 volts to the blower and and it works.... so it is obviously not getting a feed from the climate control. Does anyone know if the feed for the blower comes from the climate control and whether it is switched by a relay or a power transistor because perhaps one of these is malfunctioning. Or if it might be something else!

Any help would be appreciated.
Regards

***ADDITIONAL****

I have since discovered that the Cimate control model does not use the Resistor pack to control the speeds of the blower as in many W169 fittings. It uses an Electronic speed regulator module MB 169 820 02 97.Valeo No.509869. So I'm probably answering my own question in thinking I need to replace this module. This info may help others.
