A250 Kicking to neutral with no human help.

Ive had owned of a 2019 A250 hatch for under a year.

Has any one experienced the car itself shifting/changing/kick to neutral on its own with no human assistance.

Seems to be an intermittent issue under the right circumstances. Never happened during the colder months but now its warmer its appears to be appearing again.

It appears to happen more often when the car is in Eco. Majority times I’m either coasting and trying to apply acceleration again but with no “go” as the D somehow went to N and if my foot is left to the floor or try to keep applying acceleration I have to physically hit the shifter back to D

Rpms are also are restricted wouldn't say left at 0. As my foot is to the floor they don’t exceed 3-4rpms while the car itself changed to neutral.

Cause of this it provides me with some doubts

Workshop has asked to bring the car directly there if it acted up to be scanned and codes analyzed.

guess once the car is off/restarted it’s back to normal codes.

My car also produces the error that the transmission goes in neutral while driving, the drive stops and I am forced to stop the car. After that, you can restart it and the error message will disappear again for a while. This happens with all-electric drive as well as with all-gas engine drive. What was the solution for You? Clearing the error-container and updating the software didn't help me. They replaced the transmission controller and then the complete transmission, but the error has been repeated ever since.
