Locked keys in car
Hi. My wife has a 2020 A250 (W177)with keyless go, that she has somehow managed to lock the keys in twice, . I can't exactly replicate how she has done it. She never did it with her old car (W176 A-Class) and I've never done it with my W205. She reckons she approaches the locked car, pulls the passenger door handle to unlock/open the door, puts her handbag(purse) on the passenger seat with the keys in it, shut's the door and walks to the driver's door to find it is locked and all the other doors are locked.
I've noticed that I can sit in the car with the spare key and she can lock the car from the outside by touching the door handle and having her key with her. My understanding is that you are not suppossed to be able to lock the car with a key inside???
