are you sure about the s version? why not the c version? thats a verizon v60 as well and theres a million on ebay. take this one for example:

i have a verizon non S model... the cradle comes with extra clips for the regular or speaker model

Only the S model has the GPS chip Verizon will no longer ativate any other models. I already tried a C they said as of 6/05 FCC rules will not allow it.

thats weird cause my regualr cell i dropped it in a puddle than it got ran over by a car while running across a street so i decided to hook up my old verizon mb startac and they did it over the phone no problem. they just said it had to have a verizon logo on it.

ESN shanges can be done, but no new activations. I spent three hours on the phone with them.

I have one for sale cheap.... but how do you know if its the S or not?

I was told that you can tell in a few ways, one there is a symbol in the center of the display when the phone is on, two when you take the battery out it should say V60S, and by the esn. Email me directly if you like at Mrichfield@telesourceone.com

so pick a free phone, activate the v60 afterwards and sell the free phone

The Mercedes v60x is E911 compatible and should therefore be activated by Verizon; it also has new features the standard v60 doesn't. I have a Mercedes v60x I'm willing to sell. I bought it thinking it was a Sprint phone; turns out it is a Verizon phone. I'll PM you.

If anyone has a mercedes phone for sprint i will take it off there hands
