Talking Sold: 8000K D2S HID bulbs, brand new
Brand new set of Genuine GE 8000K Super Blue Bulbs. They are very High quality, I just aquired some philips ultinons at the same time so I decided to keep the 6000k. I am looking for $125 shipped (lower 48 states).

D2S bulbs are designed for HID projectors like on your E55

D2R bulbs are desgined for HID headlight assemblies w/o projectors.

So yes, these bulbs will fit your car along with other cars with oem HID projectors.

Its in the owners manual, I'm not sure about the e55, I know it fits all of the new c-class. I'm not sure if the e-class uses d2s or d2r for Zenons. Just look up the lighting specs in your owners manual and if it says d2s these will fit.

I believe the D2S fits the Bix headlights with a projector. The D2Rs are for headlights without the projector.
