FS 2005 S55 Alabaster / tan..ebay check it out
I was looking through ebay just to see what S55's were going for and found this...I think its a reallly good deal, not that I'm looking to buy, but for someone in the market...05 S55 with less than 1k miles with keyless go, parktronic, wood trim package, bi-xenon headlamps, electronic trunk closer and more...for 90k
what do you guys think ?
One more Question in general...when new cars are coming out and you place an order for a car so that you are on the list to have one of the first ones from your dealer...that deposit you have to place, is that refundable if you decide not to purchase ?

Unless you're a dealer, or you purposely avoid registering the car and paying the sales/use tax (which is illegal), you will never make money off of a mass production car.
W220 prices are in free fall. Don't get me wrong; it's a great car. But don't think you'll make money, or even break even.
The only way you can flip a car nowadays is on low-production and/or exotics. And even that is rough. If you can get it at MSRP and after sales tax and registration (which is 10+% in Los Angeles), you'll be lucky to break even.

the good thing is that the M3 holds their value well. If you can get it at MSRP, you're looking at 20% depreciation over 3-4 years. That's UNHEARD OF in this market. The E46 M3 is such a solid car.
Hey Ian, I can get a 2006 Brand new Bentley Flying Spur for mid 160's. You interested?
