What good is just the K-box? Does it serve any function with out the entire pulley kit?

KLEEMANN has developed a line of power enhancing products specifically for
M271 (1.8 litre) SC vehicles. The corner stone of this line is the K-Box. The KBox is an electronic recalibration device that greatly enhances both power and torque through the entire operating range of the engine. The K- Box is further enhanced on 200K and 230K models by a pulley system. The new billet alloy CNC machined crank pulley is modified to a larger diameter to provide more boost pressure. The pulley system also includes a new water pump pulley, belt idler and drives belt to insure proper tensioning and long service life.

The reduced mass of the alloy crank pulley enables the engine to rev more quickly and produce more power compared to other pulley solutions.
The result of this tuning system is greatly improved power and torque
throughout the entire engine operating range with crisp throttle response and
perfect drivability. The kit is a purely a bolt on kit, no further modification is
needed to achieve the figures listed bellow. It is not necessary to program the ECU as all tuning settings are handled within the K-Box or other mechanical means

2. If without the pulley, how did you buy it? I assumed Kleeman only sold them as a kit

I am selling only the K-Box alone without the pulley Kit. I am sure that C180 Kompressor does not exist in the US market, I might be wrong. Kleemann only introduces the K-Box for the C180 Kompressor without the pulley. That is how I manage to purchase it as a standalone product.

I am based in Asia...I bought it at 800 Euro....It is just one month old...If you can offer me a decent price, I will be glad to let it go....It has an installation manual on top of that.

I do understand where you are coming from where mutual trust is a concern where I have only 3 post.

Thanks for clarifying that. I would've hated to have one of the members on here (from the US) try purchasing the K-box alone only to realize that they have no use for it at all.

Hopefully somebody in Europe will be willing to purchase.
