FS: Audio 10 CD
AFAIK, this appears to be the latest iteration with the latest SW version. It worked flawless in my 03 C320.
I'm asking $200, ground S&H included in the lower 48. Insurance and/or other shipping would be extra. I don't have paypal and therefore would prefer a postal moneyorder.

I'd like to snag this...but do you have any www.heatware.com or references??
I buy/sell/trade computer parts, and the forums I used (along with many others) uses Heatware. To check my refs go to www.heatware.com and look up Athlongamer. But I was just wondering if you guys use any kind of referencing for sells and trades?

I just recently sold my clear corners and my EURO mirrors to members on here. Other than that I can't help you out because I'm not registered on heatwave.

I just bought a '98 SLK with the cassette. I'm scheduled to take the car back to the dealer to have the 6-disc changer installed in the trunk. If I bought this unit, is it an easy install? How do I know what to look for in terms of compatibility with my car? My sales guy has agreed to have it put in for me, because I've waited 5 weeks for the cd changer.

Have you looked on ebay and/or checked with Steve?
There are several advantages: no install hardware/kit required, matches OEM illumination, controls OEM cd changer, RDS, better SQ, preserves steering wheel controls, etc.
Disadvantages: No MP3, no traffic advisory, no weatherband, no preset speech/music eq, AM frequency band is different.
Questionable: some have reported that only certain burned cds will play in it. Can't verify since I don't have any of those.
