Come on by tommorow. Its been a while since i installed the HID kit on your car. It might be a bad ballast. It still under warranty so its all good.

Does the HID kit work with both the projection headlights and the reflector headlights?

Yes, they will work for both as long as the bulb type is correct. If you have depo projector lights, they still use H7 type bulb.

hey darwin I just got the kit but have a lot of questions about the install. Can you have someone post specific pics about the install

Where do you plug the 2 metal plugs into that come out of the ballast(red plug and wire)

This is for a 211
Thanks

david

that doesn't sound quite right. the bulb needs to reflect characteristics of
a D2R bulb, not an H7, if used in a reflector headlight. but as far as I know,
all the bulbs in your kit are the same...but the bases are different. so can
you clarify? do the bulbs differ if used in a reflector housing vs a projector
housing?....and if so are the bulbs different if used within an HID projector
versus a halogen projector?

side note: Osram and Phillips designs different bulbs for projector vs reflector
because the focal point is different....and because the light housing requires
different source/beam specifications.

Raymond, H1, H3, H4, 9004/5/6 and D2R are designed for reflectors, H7, H11, and D2S are designed for projectors. HID bulbs that have a molded base are designed to be cost effective in any situation.

Its not, in the long run it'll fall off and go down to the rain guard. Use zip ties.

W124's
I'm interested in these for my W124.

Does the kit come with the H4 Headlight/H3 Foglight adapter plug?

6500K would be my choice. TIA!
