These are great. Darwin installed these in my Headlights and fogs and they look mean as hell. Love the thin *** ballast too.

guys, this is a 10 minute install at the most if you've done before. if not, maybe 20 mins. very straightforward. i did the light conversion including removal of the bumper and replacing the headlights and adding xenons in about 1 hr.

if you would like i can post a simple diy of how to plug these things in for the conversion since the companies don't send you directions with their kits.

ok, this is my attempt at it- note i have a new comp and have not had a chance to install photoshop or anything special so i had to use mspaint. i will improve this when i have time. i am considering that you have already removed your old bulbs and inserted the HID bulbs into your assembly. THIS IS A GENERIC PIC I FOUND OF AN HID KIT, NOT THE ONE FOR THE MERCEDES.
for the pic below i have labeled
1. hid bulb
2. bulb to ignitor connection
3. ballast to headlight connector connection
4. ballast to inside rear of headlight connectors connector (note that with our hid kits, some may or may not have a clip on the end like "4" here does, mine did not- it was just a red and a black wire that would plug into the existing output on the back of the headlight. the output i'm referring to is 2 wires that connect to the back of the OEM bulb.
NOTE THAT WE WILL NOT MOUNT THE BALLASTS/IGNITORS TO THE BODY OF THE VEHICLE TILL THE END AFTER A TEST
step 1:
take your old bulbs out by unplugging the 2 connectors from behind them and insert the xenon bulbs (labeled 1) into your headlight assembly.
step 2:
taking the two connectors that you just unplugged the headlight bulbs from step one and connect each of them to the #4 that is labeled in the picture below. (you may have them reversed initially- but don't worry, you won't break anything)
step 3:
plug your ballasts (silver boxy thing up top on the picture) to your ignitors (black box on the bottom), they should only plug in one way
step 4:
plug the connections from the HID bulbs into the ignitors (2). and do the same with what is labeled 3 in the picture.
step 5:
turn your lights on and test to see if it all works. if NOT, go back to step 2 and reverse the connections from the back of the headlight assembly from red to black to black to red and vice versa.
step 6:
after testing, mount everything in proper locations, i used 3m double sided tape to mount.
post any questions in this thread please.

I ordered two 6500k kits for the headlights and the fogs, IMO the 8000k's are to bright.......I will post up some feedback as soon as they are in, hopefully this weekend.

Theoretically the 6500k will be brighter, the higher the kelvin temp the less bright and more blueish/purpleish they become.

I had the HID kits installed yesterday and the headlights look good and work but the fogs are flickering and it shows up on the display as a malfunction. I called Carlab last night and left a message with someone there and I am waiting for them to call me back. Where I had them installed they reccomended installing a 75 amp relay but I would like to hear back from Carlab before I go ahead and do that, any suggestions?

I have your V2 and my passenger light is flashing when i drive down the road. It started out as flicker, then a quick flash, no constantly turn off for a few second them back on and then often times it just flashes like the effect of a car bumping their system draining the battery. Check you PM. I need you guys to look @ it.

I've been trying to contact you regarding the fogs. Call me at 408 855 8245 when you have time. You might have a bad ballast/igniter.
