Wire Mesh Grill Material
To all of you that wanted to try and make your own Wire Mesh grills. I have the material. It’s Stainless Steel Wire mesh 3/16 spacing using 1/32 wire (Just an estimate).
I can get you any size up to 48" wide.
Minimum width is 6 inches. It is very expensive. For a CLK you will need a piece 6 x 48 inches.
It costs $100.00 plus shipping.
If you want a smaller piece I will have to cut them, the price is $25.00 for a ½ square foot.
(6x12 inches) Plus shipping.
E-mail me if your interested.

2000 CLK 320
Tim,
Are you going to install the wire mesh on your car? Post pics of the mesh, and the car after you're done. I'm thinking of putting it on my CLK also. Thanks...

I'm planning on it.
I do hope that it turns out the way I envision. It will take me some time before I have the finished product. I will post pictures of the mesh for people that may want to try it themselves.

I would like to see pictures of this as well....Cause i know you can buy 60" steel mesh from discount auto parts for only 14$.
If your intersted in seeing this, and you dont have a discount store near you, let me know...Ill be happy to go take a picture of it for you, and ship it out to you for the cost of the mesh.
If you wait about 3 weeks, im buying it and putting it on as my grill and ill have pictures..
I'm just looking out for the mercedes owners to save some $$
