A guy called me and came to look at my C... boasting that he had the money ready, would be able to pay in cash, had an M3...

At the end, he called me and:
- asked whether the car was a C-class or an E-class
- asked why the mpg was a lot worse
- concerned about the gas
- asked why the car was a lot rarer than C230
- said that he considered an Accord also
- offered me a price of C320 and when I declined it, he said that that was what KBB showed as Private Party Excellent... yeah for C320....

A lot of clueless people out there.

Why don't you part it out and put it back to stock.... I'm sure you could collect at least $5K-8K back. This means you could sell the car for $12-15K, which I think is very doable. More work... but easier to sell.
