WTB SL55 AMG resonators with dual exhaust tips
I want to buy a set of AMG resonators with dual exhaust tips for my 2003 SL

resonators do not come with exhaust tips ! 
mufflers come with exhaust tips.

One word of advice, just pick up the two SL55 mufflers/exhaust
and add those. Dont put the resonators, and you will be more
than satisfied with the result. Its got a nice rumble to intimidate,
but is not over powering or hona'ish.

Thanks rajah996. I recently bought a '03 SL500 w/AMG sport package and wanted to add the AMG quad tips. I assumed that the tips and resonator/muffler which ever they are, is a single unit. I recall seeing a set for sale amonth or so ago on this forum for sale but cannot locate that thread.

No problem. I did this mod myself last spring. One thing
you should be aware of, is you need to replace the rear
bumper as the quads are much larger than our duals. You
can have a body shop hack your bumper to make it fit,
but the ones which I saw done like that did not look good.

Beautiful looking car. Mine is Aegean Blue, doesn't have the parktronic but everything else.
By the way, back a couple of months ago, someone on the forum was selling some new mufflers and quad tips. He called them resonators in his thread so I assumed that was the proper reference, not having a parts manual. Thanks for your input. Do you know anything about a company called Best Deal Carparts? They claim to sell MB OEM bumpers for less than half the dealer cost here in Reno.
