FS: 1986 Lamborghini Jalpa
I have my Lamborghini listed for sale. Here are the details:
Here is my 1986 Lamborghini Jalpa Vin number za9j00000gla12277 that I had intended for my wife to drive. Since I have purchased this car she has not, and maybe she wants something different. If you want to learn more about the Jalpa, refer to this site: http://www.lambocars.com/jal/jalpa.htm
This car has had extensive service to make this one of the top Jalpas in existence. This car needs absolutley nothing.
1 of 410 built over the six years Jalpas were manufactured. Chances are you have never seen one before.
In 2002 the owner shipped this car from his home in Florida to Collin Clarke Engineering in London where they did a comprehensive service. The mileage at that time was 22850 KM. The work which included:
Removal of engine, strip down and reseal
replaced all gaskets and seals
replace differential seals
changed gearbox oil
remove, cleanout and reseal sump pump
2. Replace the sodium filled valves with the later solid filled valves
strip and inspect heads
replace valve guides
replace exhaust valves
reshim tappets
3.Replace all water and fuel lines
4.Radiator overhaul
5.brake overhaul
replace brake hoses
replace brake master cylender
replace brake pads
replace brake fluid
new brake cable
6.Complete electrical overhaul
7.Replace clutch plate
8.Overhaul water pump
9.Overhaul carberators and rebuild
10.Replace fuel lines
11.Custom exhaust and sport manifold
12.Replace plugs, air filters, engine oil, oil filter coolant, basically all fluids
13. New alternator
14.All new belts and chains
All this was done to the tune of $40,000. I am glad I did not pay for this directly. All this is documented in detail.
In 2003, new shocks and another fluid service was completed.
Michelin Pilot Sports were fitted to the car.(approx 85% tread left)
Most recently in 2007 done by me:
K&N air filters installed
All fuses and relays replaced along with the housings
fuel tank drained, and cleaned, replaced filter
replace spark plugs and spark plug wires(MSD)
Replace Coil with MSD Coil Blaster 2
Replace Cap and Rotor
Tach Gauge upgraded to digital to accept MSD system
Replaced intake hoses
All fluids replaced including oil, brakes, coolant
A leak down was performed in April of 2007 with results to factory specification and all cylenders close in compression.
This added an additional $4,500 to make this car mechanically solid.
The exterior is a 9 out of 10. I would not consider the paint Concourse because there are small blemished consistent with the age of the vehicle. But it shines without swirls which is not easy with a black car. Clean Carfax without accident
The interior is extra clean with exception of one blemish on the driver's seat documented in the picture.
I encourage questions. This is a very solid example with extensive service history. I have not seen many like this. If you are interested, get a PPI done to have piece of mind.

I am located in Scottsdale Arizona
Pics as you requested
As a side note, this car has had over 200 hours of service work to make this car so mechanically solid, I would say this car is better than when it came off the showroom floor.
For the next Concourso, you will not see another one. You will be the only one with a Jalpa. With only 410 examples and less than half coming to the U.S., this car is definitely a collectable.
