This vehicle was originally custom ordered and delivered to the family that started the UPS shipping empire. They paid over $150,000 for this car when new! It was delivered with the full Lorinser appearance package including 19” custom Lorinzer wheels. (available in addition to the AMG wheels). No expense was spared. Plus, it is rumored that very few S600s made it to the U.S. in 2001…possibly less than 50!
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE MILEAGE! This car is in better condition that most Mercedes with half of its mileage!!
The current owners are good friends of mine and in their late 80’s and unfortunately can no longer enjoy driving this wonderful car. During their ownership, this car was meticulously maintained. It was never abused, in an accident, or had any other damage to it. It was certified as a Mercedes StarMark car and was recently completely inspected by the local Mercedes dealership. They went through the entire car and either fixed or replaced the items that have been known to plague some of the “S” class cars. Repairs included:
Recent oil change and service
All new hoses
New intake manifold
Oil pressure and crank sensors
New engine harness
Fuel Injection control module
New 02 sensors
New front subframe and alignment
Replace all transmission and engine mounts
New spark plugs
California registration is paid through August of 2008. Also, the tires and windshield were just replaced.
This vehicle comes equipped with the owner’s manual, all records since new, and extra keys.

(the owner didn't like them because they thought the ride was too rough on 19" wheels.
