99 E300 Turbo Diesel For Sale San Diego,ca

1999 Mercedes E300 turbo diesel for sale Engine is 6 cylinder, 3 liter turbo diesel LOW 95,600 mi Dark Red exterior with beige leather interior Automatic Transmission Traction Control AM/FM/CD Changer Audio System in Trunk Cruise Control Keyless Entry System Power Steering Tilt Steering Wheel Power Windows 3.0L Turbo Diesel Intermittent Windshield Wipers Driver and Passenger Front Airbags Lighted Entry System Power Door Locks Power Exterior Mirrors Alloy wheels

This car is in excellent condition. Leather still looks new. Very nice car. It has power everything, excellent body with no rust,no damages, extremely clean condition inside, non smoker and never abused. Fully loaded. These engines last forever, and it gets excellent gas mileage (up to 40 mpg). It was bought less than a year ago from Mercedes of Escondido for $20,000. No accidents. You can tell this car has been well taken care of. Selling because I need the garage space and have too many cars. You can email me and I'll send additional pics if interested. Great car, you won't be disappointed. MUST SELL! ANY REASONABLE OFFER WILL BE CONSIDERED! Would much rather sell on the forum to somebody who would appreciate it. Thank you for looking.

email me at ji1904@att.net for further info. HAVE ABOUT 40 PICTURES NOW AT http://www.imagesharing.net/images/ji1904/

Tesla Roadster Sport
Some Questions:

1. Why does the trunk badge say diesel instead of turbodiesel?
2. Why is your radio head unit the "old style" non fiber optic unit?
3. Why does your rear parcel tray have the non-led pre-99 third brake light?
4. Why does your center console have the old style trunk opener, and mirror adjustment switch?

To me this looks like a 96 or 97 E300 N/A Diesel

In addition to what the last poster just said. This E300 D does not have leather it has text.

Good luck with the sale. Price should go down. The difference in a turbo and non turbo is massive in used value.

All 1999 diesels sold in the USA have leather inserts, a few will have the full leather option.

OP: You need to post a picture of the VIN so people can perform their due diligence and see what they're dealing with here and be able to determine the actual model year of this car.

Welcome aboard!

I had not had time to take pictures of the car and it had been raining in San Diego so i had gotten those off another website. I did not realize that that was a non-turbo. It looked identical to mine, but i realize it is not now. My apologies. In the meantime, i took pictures today and now have posted them. i have many additional pics if wanted, i can e-mail them. It is most definitely a 99 E300 turbodiesel. Pictures now available at http://www.imagesharing.net/images/ji1904/

i tried to take a picture of the vin today, but it came out rather fuzzy, but i can send it to whomever would want it, or it is available at the new picture link in the 1st post. The VIN # is WDBJF25H0XA877023. Furthermore, as far as the leather goes, someone came to see the car and told me it was not full leather, but rather some kind of myoplex or fabric with the leather inserts. I was not aware of this, but it does seem to keep fairly well, but you are correct in saying it is not full leather. I was misinformed. Many pictures of the car are now available at http://www.imagesharing.net/images/ji1904/

the car in those photos does not have leather anything on the seats and that was my point!

This 1999 car that we have yet to see should have inserts so you are correct.

I'm not sure why the link is not working, try to copy and paste the address into your address bar, and if that still does not work, email me at ji1904@att.net and I'll just email the pictures to you.

I am the third owner and Mercedes Benz of Escondido did not provide me with any service records, so I do not have them. I bought the car 1 year ago from them with about 88,000 miles, and have driven it for about 7,600 miles in the past year. It has not been in any accidents and is Carfax certified. According to the Carfax, it was first imported to Mercedes Benz of Escondido in San Diego, but the title was then updated in Florida for the first 20,000 miles, then the title was updated in California after that. It does not have xenon headlights.

No that is an excellent price for a 1999 turbo. Some go as high as low 20's so this is a real deal.

Buy it omega!

Thanks. I thought is was a very good price for the car. Like I said, bought it from MB of Escondido just a little under a year ago for 20k. It had 87,xxx some miles, now 95,600. It hasn't been driven much, and now that I picked up the cl55, this thing is just sitting in the garage. Someone is going to get a very nice car, for sure.

Ive been talking to my dad about it, seems like a good commuter car for him. his turbo diesel Jetta is just too small for him and his luggage. Those jetta seats cut off circulation to anyone with big legs. I think that cyncarvin would agree if my family were to pick this up, it would go to a very nice home.

He had a few questions:
Does the back seat fold down?

does it have SLS (self-leveling suspension)?

Does it happen to have Limited slip or just traction control?

Thanks, omegabenz

OK.... did a little homework right now. Maybe not all the answers you were hoping for, but answers none-the-less. The rear seats do not fold down. It does not have the SLS. And it has ASR (Automatic Slip Control) and ESP (Electronic Stability Program). I found the info at http://www.mbusa.com/overview/1999/E...AccClassCode=E
It looks like this info is specific to the 1999 E300 turbo diesel and may answer some more questions you might have, and since it is from the mbusa website, I'm assuming its accurate. Thanks again and I hope that helped.

You are right, I stand corrected. I did not read that it is an option, I thought it was standard equipment. I am assuming otherwise there probably would be a button for it, which there is not. Well, you can go to http://old.mbclub.ru/mb/vin/?lng=eng
and type in the vin # WDBJF25HOXA877023 and it will list all the options on the car. Its a good little vin decoder.
