20" Chrome OZ Wheels For Sale

Hi. I dont know if it is considered "tacky" to use the forum to so-call "advertise (The classified section doesnt seem to be current) but I am trying to sell some 20" Staggared OZ Opera 2-pc wheels and tires in pristine condition. The tires are basically brand new. The wheels have been on the car for around 7,000 miles since being chromed. I am told that these will fit the CL, S , and ML models. I am getting some Lorinser LM5s and would really like to sell these quick to help absorb the blow of the new ones coming in. The wheels are currently on E-Bay if you want more info --

I see the auction ended without reserve being met. Do you need to modify the wheel wells or suspension in any way to get these to fit an S500 and how is the ride and road noise affected? Please e mail me or post how much you need for them. Thanks

Question

Callaway and Medici78--I TOTALLY AGREE. Something is DEFINITELY not right. Im totally dumfounded. I am going to E-Mail the lone bidder on the wheels and let him know someone is using my ad and to beware. My wheels were sold last week for $2800 , not even to someone in Atlanta (???), but someone in Brownsville, TX. I am also going to E-Mail E-Bay to find out how they could have copied my whole ad, which I dont think is possible. It would have to be done as a "re-list" which only I have my password. Also one of my wheels had a small defect in it and Im not sure why, even if someone had the technology to replicate my whole ad why they would want to include the part about the "cut" in the rear wheel--all it would do is hurt the re-sale value on the wheels. What are the odds that someone would have the exact same minor damage to the the same wheel? I AM VERY CONFUSED but also find it a little humurous and odd. Has anyone ever seen this type thing happen on E-Bay before. Maybe I can sue for copyright infringement LOL. But I did not post that ad NOR did I have ANYTHING to do with it. Ill let you know what the Seller says, assuming he reponds back at all (unlikely) if you care to know.

It is not hard to copy an ad in ebay. You just need to know how to copy and paste.

This is a follow up as promised. I contacted the high bidder for that auction that was a replication (copy) of my exact ad for the OZ wheels from a few weeks ago. Basically the seller was running a scam. The high bidder told me that the seller told him to Wire the money to Romania. When the high bidder told the seller he would drive to Atlanta to pick up the wheels, the seller never responded back. If you go back to that link, you will notice a negative feedback and a warning recently posted by the high bidder. Unfortunately, that seller is also selling a watch and some Porsche wheels which Im quite sure are also "copied" auctions, but hopefully the high bidders will look at feedback. Feedback is VERY important on E-Bay. Also, thank you for noticing that Medici78. By me finding out about this it allowed me to do some research and ultimately kept a few people from being swindelled out of a lot of $$$. They wont ever know it, but they should be grateful to you as well--obviously.

drmike67, I'm glad that this fraud was exposed, at least in a small way. It's really scary that people can get away with this type of thing.
