FS: H&R Cup Kit

Hi,

The kit was taken off from my C320. It had been on my car for 4 months only. The shocks still work great, but the front and rear springs are cut by one coil. I cut them to lower my car more.
I'm offering you $280+shipping.
Thanks.

I used them for about 3500 miles. I don't think it will fit W208 CLK, but I could be wrong. Can someone clarify this?

No, a set of springs for a W203 will not fit a W208

zspeed: yes it can, but the car will sit higher than using the springs that came with the shocks. Cup kit springs are different from sport springs. I think the different is the spring rate. That's why the cup kit can lower the car more than the sport springs. Email me at moncos_man@yahoo.com if you want the pictures when it was on my car.

Wait a second. AS far as i know, once you change stock spring for a lower ones without changing the shocks, then stock shocks will
get ****** up in a half a year. Basicly by cuting of a coil you made the same thing. Is it why you are selling ur kit?

I want to sell it not because the shocks are f***** up. It's because I have Carlsson coilover instead, so I no longer need the cup kit.
I cut the springs because there was still some gap in the front of the car which made the car looked ugly, but a week after, I found that Carlsson coilover can lower my car even more.
The cup kit has been in my storage since last November, so I think it's better to let it go.
That's another reason why I want to sell it.

Err that wasn't my point actually. Im just trying to say that once you cut spring the shocks will go down pretty soon. I think that same thing will happend with kit.

BTW can we see some pictures of your car please?
I will be really interested in some close pics. Thanks

I don't know if the shocks would die after the springs were cut.
I think there are some people in this forum who also cut their springs and haven't had any problem so far, so you'd better ask them for sure.
Again, I only had the cut springs on my car just only one week, so I'm sure that the shocks still work great.
Email me if you want the pictures.

How bad is your rear camber? How did you adjust it back? I have -2.0 camber in the rear and want to at least bring it back closer to spec.

The rear camber was also close to -2.0, but it was after the springs were cut. The guy who installed my suspension kit said that it was almost impossible to bring the camber back to the stock spec because the car was lowered.
I think any lowered car will have camber problem.

Yes you can because the design is the same as the stock one.
However, the car will sit higher than the cup kit spec.
The cup kit springs are different from the sport springs.
Email me if you're interested.
Thanks.

I don't think so because the cup kit shocks and the stock shocks both have the same length and look.
The difference is inside-how it is designed and is made for.
The stock shocks are for comfort while the other one is for daily performance use.
The thing that make the car sit differently between stock shocks/sport springs setup and cup kit shocks/cup kit springs is the spring rate.
You can still use the cup kit shocks on your car, but there won't be any difference from what you have now except for the quality.
The cup kit shocks are much better than the stock shocks.
