Good deals

I buy most of them at Foreign motors west . I have been in business 20 yrs there's no such thing as buying for invoice unless it's a undesirable vehicle at the wrong time of the year. If it's hot like a cl55 or sl500 2003 you pay full tilt. if it's not I pay less. accationaly I pay invioce . But I am usually driving something current, so i pay the going rate. Just remember one thing you can't pay coach and fly first class........

lol I think foreign motors west is the worst dealership around. Try Viti, much much better.

That's a matter of opinion I have bought 8 new cars in the last 5 years there not to mention the amount of have purchased for my dealership. It all depends on who you work with and what type of relationship you develop. It might be a little easy for me because i'm in the business ?

I am not one to extend my hand at a dealer to build a "relationship". The dealer must do their part and make the customer feel at home and treat them well, Foriegn motors did not do this. The staff at FMW lacked knowledge of the cars and the worst part was their service. They wanted to charge me a 90 dollar or so Diagnostic fee just to look at my ML which is still under factory warranty. At every other dealer i tried no one has ever asked me for a diagnostic fee, its ridiculous there. I will never do business with them, I hope MBUSA shuts them down.

hey Al, sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience with FMW. i guess it really depends on who you deal with over there. i agree with your observations about their service and sales staff knowledge. however, i think i was lucky because my salesman is a real car fanatic and bends over backwards to keep me happy. whenever i need service i just call him up on thursday and i'm in that sat morning for whatever i need done. he's always got a loaner for me as well with minimum notice. in fact, one time when they did not have a loaner available he gave me his demo to use. luck of the draw i guess.

I guess it depends on which mercedes you have.... those 00 E-classes were pretty solid reliable cars and required minimal service (besides maintenance). The ML is far from that. I guess since I only have a lowly ML320 I get treated like sh*t. Oh well I still hate them and will never ever consider buying an MB from them. I hope they are reading this.

Of course they treat you right.. You spend large sums of money at their dealership.

The sad reality is 98% of car dealers are greedy shyster's. Most are very unknowledgeable about the vehicles they are selling; and unless you are a "40-50 something" man/woman purchasing a "high-end" model (i.e., SL, CL, S600, etc.) you do not exactly receive a "warm welcome", and are not taken seriously.

Regarding the dealership where I have my SL55 on order; I am looking forward to filling our my comment card--detailing everything I experienced--and sending it to MBUSA.

What was the expereince that you had with that benz dealer.

What I have noticed is that, now that the sales force is working

for such a small margin that there attitudes have really begun to

show the effect of not making the money they have been use

to in the past...........But the dealer now has a large hold back.

A place in billerica called Tint King He has done all my cars . He has a computerized machine that cut's all the paper and it comes out almost flawless His # 978-670-2927 His name is Brian he's a really nice kid........and his work is excellent!!!!
