http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2453641760

Hello all,

My brother wanted me to put his AMG wheels on ebay, please see the link. He wants to sell them and get some BBS LMs or something.

I dont think you have fully researched your statement. I think new everything is about 3k including tires.

Send me a quote from the dealer.

It is purely irrelevant what you sold your wheels for or where you think you can get wheels for cheaper. That's your venue.

Tirerack sells the wheels and tires new for about 2300 USD.

The dealer sells them for over 3000 USD with tires.

Plain and simple, there are the facts, I looked into it. I don't need people cluttering up the thread with nonverified information.

Regards,

relax...take a deep breath. no one on this forum is trying to hurt your sensitive feelings, we are just trying to let you know what is norm on this forum. pretty much everyone on here is knowledgeable... maybe you should go peddle it somewhere else.

$2,432.60 would be the total with shipping for what I am offering from tirerack and they are on back order.

Your 1800 quote from tirerack is incorrect, unless you mean wheels only with NO tires? Is this what you mean?

The prices I have found include tires, the same ones that I have on the wheels, michelin pilot sports staggered.

In that condition the reserve was set for 800 dollars, which it was met. Buy it now was 1200. Which I think is pretty reasonable. Buy it now is for those that don't like to wait around for bidding if they just "have to have it."

I think my prices I set up on ebay were fair. Someone took advantage of that. I hope everything works out.

I have bought and sold about 20 sets of wheels, so I kinda know how much stuff is worth. Just ask "the doctor" K?

you have knowledgable people on this forum who won't pay more than they're really worth. and on ebay, you have a whole world of anxious buyers.

next time don't get us mixed up.

Possibly its $2400 if you assume 4 new tires, however you say two are almost new and two are almost worn out. So we will call that equal to 2 new ones. I did the math on this a couple days ago and it was in the high $1000's from Tire Rack, but I forget the exact number.

I wasnt going to post it as not to totally rain on your parade and discourage possible buyers, but misinformation has to be countered...

Maybe because I have less than 100 posts under omegabenz6, you guys think I am a newbie, and you have no respect for me. Quite contraire, my old account got messed up and I had about 500 posts. On Mercedes shop I have nearly 2000 posts. I am not an idiot, and you guys seem to have butchered me on this thread. Very not like typical educated Mercedes guys, which I have dealt with in the past.

If you want to buy Brand new wheels, tires, etc from tire rack its 2400.

If you want to buy brand new wheels and tires from the dealer, it’s over 3000 USD.

Used wheels and tires are of course not worth a new price, a high price is usually half the amount of new items. The low price and be anything. That is purely up to the seller, if the price is too high, or the buyers are not looking for that, then the price could possibly be lowered.

Someone bid what I wanted so the comments on my price are too high is clearly irrelevant.

It's like buying a house, if you can’t afford it, you look for something cheaper. Or wait!

Come on guys, you are butchering me. Please guys, have some respect for me and those interested in the items I have to offer.

Sincerely.

It is obvious that you wouldn't, but that is not what matters (your opinion). To the right person something can be worth whatever value they deem to set upon it. I felt that 800 USD for the wheels and tires is more than reasonable/fair. That is what I felt, not you.

What does it matter, someone from ebay did?

I think to the right person they are probably worth 1000 USD.

Maybe not! Why do you have to assume the worst? It was because I got busy with school and it got deactivated. Why do I have to explain myself to you? You should be explaining your inexcusable behavior to me, interfering with a sale, and having nothing constuctive to say.
