FS: Koni Yellow Adjustables / HR Springs
I'm selling my Koni Yellows (adjustable) and HR Springs off my CLK430. Approximate drop is 1.5" all around. There is approximately 2000 miles on them. I rather sell these locally, but i still have the boxes for them... so I am willing to ship them. I'm asking 400 even for them or best offer. I'm not sure if my price is too high or not, but let me know. Rob's always negotiable :P
Rob
you have pictures of them?
How would i know if they have only 2000 miles?
They are still on my car and will be taking them off maybe next weekend.

it this for only 430s or will it work for 320s too? thanks
-Greg
The shocks and spring will fit a 320. But HR makes diff springs for the 320. Being that the 430 has a heavier engine, by putting these springs on a 320... the 320 will sit approximately 1.25" lowered vs. 1.5" lowered on a 430. The Koni shocks are for both applications.... no problem there.
Thanks,
Rob

Rob,
how does the suspension feel? is there any difference from when you first got to now? thanks

The reason I'm going with the CupKit is basically to get a lower profile :PThanks,
Rob
what was your decision to change to the cupkit? just wondering because i thought it was too soft when i had it on my clk55. i think the h&r and koni might be a better choice. i am still debating for what kind of suspension to use for myself.

Too soft?? .. but we live in SF..... roads aren't that great here. I was looking for something softer. Don't get me wrong.. the Koni/HR setup is great and not harsh at all ( I have it set at medium) , I just wanted to get a better drop. Maybe I should set the koni's to softest first and see how it goes?
Thanks,
Rob
the softness and the not so great road is the culprit of the tires rubbing the wheel well, i just touched up the front wheel well with some silver spray paint because it wore down to bare metal and began to rust a little. this was with the stock spring pads too. i was thinking that if the cupkit was that low it should have been a bit stiffer than what it was. but if you want low then the cupkit will work but you may rub when going over some bumps. just my experience with it
