what does the back of the emblem look like? one bolt, or two plastic pins?

2004 CLK500, 78 6.9,
...so it wont fit the w209 CLK unless I drill a hole into my hood .

yes it wont fit

yes it wont fit if you have 2 little holes for 2 pin. and i would not recomand you to drill the whole on your 50000$ car for this little emblem.

just cut off the pins on the emblem and attach it with some 2 sided sticky stuff if you really want the emblem.

you dont even have to cut it off.. the bolt can be removed from emeblem.
