Verone, is this the exact face on your watch? Hard to tell from your pics, but if it has the gold colored internal dials, its a Japanese limited edition.
As for the plastic wrapping, all Rolex's come out of the factory wrapped in plastic on the bands and the side of the case (shiney parts) - normally blue in color for the case and very hard to remove - the dealers normally take it off to show off the watch or to save the owners from scratching their watches unnecessarily trying to remove the plastic.
