These will fit all years from 1996 to 1999 without modification. I've been told that 1998 and 1999 may need to have the onboard computer programmed which is a 10 minute job. Can anyone verify this?

Yep. NO other part/wire needed

If it has plug for auto-leveling, then just ignore it. The plug should plug straight to your headlight wire.

Chevrolet Chevette, Ford Pinto, Pontiac Aztek, Trabant, Yugo GV (and all the worst cars ever built)
Are these new lamps? What is your guarantee of bulb life - one week, one month? If they are not new, what is the condition of the front glass? Are they still shiny like new or are they pitted and glazy? I am more concerned about the glass rather than the bulb life though. How much is shipping to new york city (10128). What is your final price?

The lamps are used from a 1999. The bulb life is linked to the life of the car, that is, HID bulbs usually do not need replacing. I've tested these ones out and they light up beautifully. The front glass is in flawless condition, no yellowing and no scratches. I am selling them for $600 including shipping.

One of the main reason that the halogen headlight set ussually pitted on the lens cover is because of HEAT, the halogen bulbs generate a tremendous amount heat, if you touch a halogen bulb while it's on, or even for a while after it's turned off, you'll get burned. Heat cause the plastic material on the lens cover weaken over time, and you have pitted & dull.

The xenon bulb have no (or very little) heat whatsoever, no heat, that's the nature of xenon bulb. No heat pretty much equal no dull.

Touch the lens cover of a halogen headlight while it's on (any headlight), then touch a xenon one, you'll see what I mean.

I have never seen a dull xenon light, even the old one. I've yet see an old & clean halogen headlight.

Xenon bulb usually last as long, or longer than the car life. They rarely go out.
