Massage seats are an option for the CLE.

That’s good. Are they coming to the US? I know rear wheel steering and adaptive dampers aren’t. The US will only get the sport dampers.

They better be, they are likely going to charge E-Class money for this thing.

I think Mercedes-Benz made a clever choice with the new CLE. By merging two models into one, they've created a luxury coupe that's more versatile and appealing to a broader audience. With its sleek design, up-to-date technology, and various engine options, I believe the CLE will be a hit, taking over from the old C-Class and E-Class Coupes.

I understand but I mean you can't get a new E cabriolet anymore the CLE is the only option. What new vehicle would you get instead?

I really don’t know. I’m conflicted. We want a cabriolet again but are concerned about the convertible top cabling issues. I don’t feel like going through that again. I see that this issue still continues. If I was going to go to another coupe, then I might as well keep the E400 (with 32k miles) we have now. I understand why MB did this (costs) but I would have liked it to lean more towards an E than a C.

Certainly, the no b-pillar is worth keeping alone.

2025 CLE 53 Cabriolet
I sat in a CLE for the first time last week and was pleasantly surprised . It looked and felt better than a C class and almost as nice , ( but different ) as my E 450 Cabrio . Of course there's no b-pillar in the cabrio so no issue there . Externally the CLE 53 looks amazing especially with its wide stance and 450 hp is more than adequate . I'm going to order a CLE 53 cabrio next week for about $110,000 Can, ,which seems like a reasonable deal given the increase in price of everything these days . Even the previous E53 was around that price last year , I've had cabrios since 2017 and never had any issues - maybe just lucky ?
