Having said that I understand that ALL MB vehicles and others built in Europe come through the port at Baltimore. Very tragic that 6 people perished but had this happened at rush hour...
There's no indication on what effect this will have on automobile deliveries but I hope that the channel can be cleared in good time.

Yes , the blues are quite similar, but the difference in the front styling is quite noticeable - I prefer the more aggressive ' shark' nose of the CLE . Thanks for info .

I'm wondering what more I ordered than you since my options came to over $19,000.
I was at my dealer today and the joke when I walk in is "hey, there's the guy buying the $7M amg"
MB really mixed me up with that $7,777,777 "base price". I have $12,600 in options so, my total build is $7,790,377. I only read the first 4 numbers ignoring the .377.
I guess when I get the real numbers I'll feel like I'm getting the deal of the century.
Add Carbon fiber everything, Performance Studio Pkg and Performance leather seats and I can see that adding up to $6-7 more.

The one area I did not touch is performance seats. I will daily drive the hell out of it and my big fat a$$ wants comfort.
performance seats make the car feel special. I'd urge anyone considering buying a new mercedes to get them.
They are more comfortable after you break them in too. First couple thousand miles, they were not as comfortable as I had hoped but I could not be happier with them now.

Mine is on a boat now coming into the port of Baltimore on Monday evening. I ordered it from Motorwerks in Barrington, IL

I had a deposit with MB Huntington, NY on a CLE 53 on December 9, 2023, right after the car was officially announced. I'm not sure when the order went in but it was probably between March 29 and April 19 when the "order window" opened. The build date was between May 23-28. Based on the experience others are having I'm trying to figure my delivery too.

Gee, I only got the official pricing on June 3! I hope my car made it on the boat too. End of June delivery sounds good.

That was about the same time I got the pricing, maybe a week later. My sales guy sent me the boat information from netstar. You can ask what boat it is on and when it left.
