I just wish they aren't both called "53" so there is no confusion. I mean, it was been said that the CLE is the coupe variant of the W214 and the W206. Naturally people would think the CLE 53 gets the same powertrain as W214 E 53 which will not be the case.

Interesting video on the CLE 450, impressions are positive and they said the interior build quality is better than some recent MBs. That is good news:

And the cars are doing what, getting a suntan? I AM BAFFLED AT THIS MARKETING STRATEGY, or whatever it is. Nobody on this site can offer an explanation???
MBCA: "We've got the car you want right here, but you can't have it..." At best it's outmoded marketing strategy, at worst...draw tour own conclusion.

NONE, NIX, NADA. There’s supposedly some expediting going on but that was last week. 8 weeks since the car was built and no one knows where it is. All I can say is that MB has completely lost control of its deliveries to customers.
I’ll let you all know when I’m driving it.
Don’t hold your breath.

Last week I was told, it is still on its way to Germany? Today, I was told, there was a delay getting the cars on to vessel from Europe. So it is delayed further... And of course, no ETA.
Just an endless saga of chasing their own tails at this point.

If it makes you feel any better, I was told my car left South Africa - end of June headed for Germany. It was set to be in Germany July 17 and then 14 days to Canada.

So we are looking at you getting the C 63 S E Performance in August? I also heard my friends say they heard (not my salesman) that Canada might be finally seeing CLE 53 at dealerships in August, so I guess when you find the right spec just buy one off the lot and end all this suffering . Unless the August ETA is inaccurate.
CLE53 is at least waiting in Halifax so just waiting " Canadian release." Much more likely to arrive sooner.
Though those 2025, CLE rims do look really nice haha.

Lol. Yeah it seems that way.... the CLE53 might end up arriving before. The way this is going, I expect the C63 here in Sept only.

Def let me know your thoughts when you do drive it. I will likely take it for a test drive if it arrives before the C63 as well. And then decide if I want to just end the suffering as you put it!

With that, I was able to see today that my car has been loaded on a ship and is on its way from Bremerhaven to Halifax with ETA Aug 13th.
Just wanted to let you know, to give it a shot as you may get more info this way as well.

Glad you were able to get some updated info. You can use the vesselfinder website to track the ship if youd like in the meanwhile.
How far are you from Baltimore? Looks like you may end up getting your car before me!

And then they waited…
Just got an update from SA as well. Told its landing in Halifax 8/13. But on their system it says dealer ETA 9/24.... I am not even surprised lol. He told me thats likely not accurate and they will expedite deliver to dealer once it has landed, but lets wait and see.

FYI, my SA did say that he was going to “Red Flag” the car once it got to Baltimore to expedite trucking it up to the dealership.

Could be but it has been almost 4 months from order to delivery. Ship is 3-4 days out. I just hope that this tropical storm doesn’t delay things further.

Hopefully this means you should get the car by the end of the week or the week after. Let me know if you get any updates from SA and how long it takes for you to take delivery from vehicle arriving to port.
That would be greatly appreciated. Home stretch!

Yup...
Looks like Titania arrived safely to Baltimore on 8/9.

Interestingly, the boat first moored on the south side of the harbor on the 9th and then moved to the north side on the 10th. My guess would be that they're dropping off cars going south/west and then it moved to the other side of the harbor to drop off cars going north/east.
I have no idea how long the VPC takes to get a car on a truck for delivery or how long the truck takes to drive to NY. But it shouldn't be long now...I'll let you know when I'm driving it.

I have been tracking the Titania's progress across "the pond" and into Baltimore harbor. Luckily Debby missed Baltimore. Unfortunately it did cause quite a bit of damage from tornadoes and flooding inland on its way to Canada. I hope that there is a small benefit from the storm if it doused some of the wildfires.

Let me know if it works for you. I was hoping to check mine, when car gets to VPC.

Still no joy
Not sure if this will help but in 2019 when I got my last car, I was able to use the site below once the car was at VPC. You select VIN and put your vehicle info in. It allowed me to track vehicle transport all the way to dealer and know timing even before the SA was aware.

Thanks for the help but I tried both VIN & PO and site said, "Not Found" Why am I not surprised...

That or they may be using an entirely different company for transportation now.

Ship carrying my car just arrived to Port. Will touch base with dealer in a day or two to see if there is any update.

I am busy this weekend, but will go check it out next week/weekend and try to get a test drive. Will let you know my thoughts! Or if I get tempted to jump ship once its in front of my face and in the flesh.
