Late to the party. Snapped a few quickie pix in the showroom before driving home. Will follow-up with some glam shots sometime down the road.

First white passenger car here, will take some getting used to. Metallic paint content is tastefully subdued to the point of near polar white, works for me. Selection of the Grey RVR Cross-Spoke wheels highlighted here. Can see the draw to their black counterparts on this car. Personally find these more attractive and am quite pleased with the choice.

Short ride in commute traffic not worthy of comment other than to say I be smiling. 😎

Looks great. I also chose the grey wheels for my Alpine Grey CLE 53 and thought that the grey wheels might be too light in color. Good to see they are dark enough to provide a good contrast to a white or light grey car. On the other hand, the black wheels look badass too. ENJOY!

Your car looks great. I also like the grey wheels. Two of my white cars had gray wheels.

Congratulations to both of you! I wasn't convinced on how that style rims looked on the configurator, but after seeing your pictures I might start regretting getting the "regular" 20" rims. That pantagonia red looks spectacular in the sun.

Congratulations , both cars look great.

Still prefer the multispoke wheels, these ones show way too much of the ugly rotors and take away from the clean lines of the car.

Thanks ,that's a good point about the uniformity of the dash and console with so many other materials and colors already on the interior and I'm not too keen on the gloss black console ,

I have the RTM 20" AMG Muti-Spoke Y-Design Black wheels. Did not have the choice in 2024 of the forged rims for my CLE 53AMG.
I like my present ones, but they are not easy (time consuming) to clean as those new forged ones would.
From another poster, I could buy new set of forged set from Forza for about $2300.
Two weeks ago my MB dealer they did not have information on obtaining them much less their cost.
I fear that MB forged ones would be very expensive at the parts dept. at my local dealer.
But I'm considering my options. Any thoughts would be welcomed.

Ugly rotors? The AMG composite brakes are gorgeous.

Everyone has different tastes. I have shown pictures ( including these ) of the forged and multispoke rims to half a dozen friends and family and they all much prefer the multipsoke.

The only person that really matters is you. If you like them, then enjoy !

I ordered these (black) and think they look great, esp on AG. The other 20" wheels (non-forged) look far too busy (a mish-mosh of a design) and are indeed a ***** to clean.

Well the multi-spoke wheels came straight from the EQE 53, which is Sportscentre Top 10 ugliest cars of the decade. Forged wheels came from the designers of the AMG GT, say less.

However I don't like the forged wheels in painted grey, doesn't match any of the available CLE 53 paint colors really. Prefer it in brushed gold/steel akin to AMG GT Coupe/4-Door. Can we bring back the gloss black 🖤?

Different tastes and that's fine. To me and those I have shown them to , these are a mess.

The forged wheels are certainly popular with people who are special ordering the 2025 CLE 53. These wheels are highly likely to be the standard wheel on the CLE 63. Lighter wheels reduce the non-suspended weight of the car which improves acceleration, braking, ride, handling, and fuel consumption. It’s kind of a no-brainer for sports cars. The CLE 53 has sporting intentions, so it doesn’t hurt to help it out a bit. I personally like the cleaner looks better, so it’s a win-win for me.

As an engineer, I see the elaborate design of the cast wheels as just adding unnecessary weight and will make them a nightmare to clean. Just imagine starting with 10 spokes, dividing to 20 spokes, introducing a functionless ring, and finally dividing into 30 spokes. It all adds so much functionless weight. It’s kind of the peacock of wheels. They should have stopped at 10 or 20 spokes and left off the ring. At least it would have been a nice entry level wheel.

Hopefully, you and your friends will be happy with your wheel choice.

If the forged wheels are good enough for the AMG GT and now the PRO (looks great on these too), they’re good enough for me. Yes less unsprung weight is a very good thing.

Greetings,

Did you end up purchasing your extended warranty from Mr. Jackson? If so, was it a smooth transaction?

thanks

Had planned on it considering the price and reputation Mr. Jackson has established on the forum. The dealership where I purchased the coupe met Jackson's quoted price - can't offer further insight.
