CLE 53 Cabriolet Configurator
The 2025 CLE 53 Cabriolet US configurator is now on-line and there are significant surprises : Only black or beige interiors and separation of various packages compared to the Coupe version ? This is unusual for Mercedes , when they usually have coupe and convertible with similar options ?

The configurator appears to be incomplete at a minimum. The interior options alone do not reflect those of the 2025 Dealer Ordering Guide posted here by member Eaton on 07.26.24
For comparison, the online configurator for the CLE 450 cabriolet shows an interior selection that's consistent with both the referenced cab DOG and the CLE 53 coupe configurator.
Looks like MBUSA has some work to do

I spoke to two dealers today and received an updated DOG. Nappa leather that was unavailable until December 2024 now has a new status of delayed. Both said that delayed suggests that Nappa leather won’t be available until sometime in 2025.
edit: I noticed too that the heated steering wheel is not on the configurator but is listed in the updated DOG. I have to wonder if this is related to a Nappa leather shortage or if it’s the chemical treatment applied to the cab’s Nappa leather seats to reduce the heat they absorb when in the sun.

Cross post: I spoke to two more dealerships over the weekend and called MB HQ in Georgia. None had additional detail but one showed me a DOG print that identifies Napa Leather possibly bring available in December. The upholstery page says “Delayed”, the revisions page says “Nappa Leather Upholsteries (801, 804) not available for ordering until December 2024 for series models”.
