CLE53 aftermarket front lip

First aftermarket front lip that I've found: https://maxtondesign.com/product-eng...E-53-C236.html

Anyone see other mods available yet?

Edit: Some other mods available too: https://maxtondesign.com/eng_m_Our-O...AMG-15402.html

I'm not sure I'm down for drilling a bunch of holes in my car, but they could look pretty good!
I found this, that says it's a real Mercedes part and they're a little pricey: https://mercteil.com/cle-53-amg-aero...retrofit-PvVgd
I emailed them asking for installation instructions and they said they are a webstore and have no idea, they said you need to drill holes....LOL

My car has the Night Package Plus, which doesn't include that, the package you're talking about is the Performance Studio Package. which also has this: https://mercteil.com/cle-amg-aerodyn...retrofit-rZl6B
I wouldn't mind having them, but not only are they a bit pricey, I just don't know what's involved in installing them. How easy or hard is it to screw these things in?

That's correct. The performance studio package comes with 3 pieces: front lip, rear spoiler, and rear bumper side canards.

All I know is that the rear spoiler (including the stock non-performance studio spoiler) is held on with automotive tape. I took off the stock spoiler and purchased the performance studio rear spoiler separately. You have to heat up stock spoiler and use a fishing line or so to loosen the adhesive. You can find videos on how to do this on other cars but it's the same process.

Isn't the rear spoiler in the Performance Studio package the same as the stock one, just in black?

Nope. It's bigger/noticeable. The stock spoiler is way too small and you can't even tell in many angles especially since it's painted the same color.

Not exactly the best pictures but here's a comparison:

Oh, I didn't know that. Where did you buy the new spoiler? Do you have the info/link to buy it?

You can find it at the seller you added earlier: https://mercteil.com/cle-53-amg-rear...retrofit-PV21m
You can also get it from your dealer by calling the parts department but it's a steep price. Look around in your area and see if anyone is selling to get a better deal.

There's also cheap knockoffs on eBay but can't speak to their quality.

That one is very pricey.
I see the ones on ebay but I don't think they are the larger ones that come in the Performance Studio package.

I just bought one from ebay which is honestly fine. Installing it this weekend but here's a picture of what it looks like. Installing new badges as just got back from getting wrapped in 3M Satin black. Linking it here!

Is that spoiler the same or larger than the stock one?
Wrap looks great by the way!

Larger, it's meant to copy the one you're talking about above in the studio package. It's tasteful and looks way better than the tiny one we got stock lol -- Thanks re: the wrap!

So I assume the people who wrapped the car did the stock spoiler removal? And you just stuck the new one on with the 3M tape?

Better than stock IMO, and bigger but not by an obnoxious amount. It's just right.

Yeah they removed it, but removing the spoiler is easy. Some fish nylon line, a heat gun or hair dryer and use the nylon string to take it off. Some goo be gone solution to take off residue, and get the rest with a rubber drill head if you need it. Lots on youtube about it but if you don't wanna do it, any shop will do it and charge you like .5 hours for it. And yes! i'm attaching the new one with 3M tape. It's been raining so haven't had a chance to do it.

I bought these (and the rears) a few months ago and haven't had them installed yet since i havent had time to PPF them yet. I will say, the installation is self explanatory. If your body man doesn't know how to do this, find another one. The kit comes with the hardware, rivets, plugs and screws required for install. I wouldnt DIY since the bumper needs to be removed and thats just annoying depending on your age. Here is what is included.

You ordered those from Mercteil?
Looks fairly straight forward, but, are you sure the bumper needs to be removed? That's not an easy quick thing I don't think. Is there any way to install it without removing the bumper?

These were purchased from Mercitel. I believe the bumper needs to be removed to secure the top rivet. Maybe you can take the tray off underneath and access that area but i haven't pulled the front apart. I attached it temporarily with HD 2 sided tape to get a view on what it will look like installed and there is no way I would trust that only for security. The mounting holes for the lip are simply not there so better to do it with the bumper off IMO.

Quick snaps with the 2 sided tape. I immediately removed it after.

So I messaged the ebay seller, he said that it only fits a coupe, not a convertible, so I looked into it. It appears that the non-Studio package 53 coupe has a very small spoiler but the studio package spoiler on the Coupe is larger. However, on the Convertible, it appears that the spoilers are the same size with the Studio package spoiler just being black instead of body color, but not any difference in size.
In the picture, non-Studio on the left, Studio on the right.
