Valve controller CLE53
I was thinking about getting the 11mode valve controller for the CLE53. I was wondering if anyone else has tried it? Did it make a noticeable difference (any sound clips)? Also how was the installation and any CEL? Thanks!

I have friends who worked at the MB dealership and they tested a different valve controller. Apparently incredibly minimal difference and not worth it. Not my personal experience but just from what a few others told me. If you want more sound i'd get the RES CATBACK exhaust, thats what I did.

No CEL! Not for a cat back. Only thing that can trigger a CEL is if the valve placement is different when re-installing the valves. But it's a super rare case, only heard of 1-2 having it. Easy fix though.
Huge upgrade in sound, but not boy racer vibes. It's how it should of came from factory.

$500 for the install @ AutoLounge in LA.
2.5K all in! SO worth it honestly and not overkill. Great balance of sound and pops, but not being obnoxious boy racer vibes.
