Active Brake Assist Functions Currently Limited Message

I received this message for the 2nd time in 1 month.
I had to clean the sensors including the big radar cover.
It was odd that yesterday I drove it in the morning and all was fine.
I parked it in the garage and went to drive it about 3 hours later and the error message came up.
Nothing had changed from when I parked it previously.
When I arrived to where we were going I cleaned the big MB Star cover and the small sensors and all was fine afterwards.
This car seems very susceptible to dirt on the front sensors.
I have all the same radar/sensors on my M340i and have not experienced this in the 2 3/4 years I have owned it.

Driven in the rain? Dried water spots (rain) on the sensors? Bug splats? Is your garage AC'ed, which causes the glass and paint to condensate?

Probably not, just tossing some thoughts out there. Maybe a software glitch or update (or update needed) issue?

I’ve had the same issue a few times. Each time a shut down and waiting for 10 minutes cleared the issue. There is an Over the Air update that may resolve the issue. It hasn’t recurred in my case since the update.
Manufacturer Communication Number: OTA - 20250725Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE, LANE DEPARTURE

Summary
Mercedes-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has updated driver assistance system software available for certain subject vehicles. The updated software improves system stability and enhances the robustness of the driver assistance system.MBUSA will conduct an OTA service campaign. Remote software updates are automatically downloaded and installed in the customer’s vehicle free of charge and do not require a dealer visit.

I routinely experienced this message and a few others for the first few thousands miles of my CLE 450. I eventually took it to the dealer, and the maintenance tech performed a software update that appeared to fix the issue. However, it returned, and more messages (transmission warning, don't change gear warning, etc.) began to appear. My car is currently at the dealership being sorted out.

In many instances, the usually fixes (clean the sensors, update the software) appear to work, but be wary of any additional messages that begin to appear.

Are you mix the light sensor go off again? What causes it to go on and how do you fix it? I've had that light before too

Do any other lights come on and do you know what the causerd are?

I experienced it again but the fix (for me) is just to wipe the big sensor where the MB symbol is clean. Error went away.
Sucks that it is very susceptible to this. My BMW never experiences this.
