Well, I open this thread by knowing how many of us own the only diesel-powered variant of the CLE.
I guess we will be few, maybe I am the only one, since from what I have read it is not sold in many countries and I see a lot of threads about the AMG 53, 300 4 matic, etc.. and none about the "variant for the poor," ha,ha,ha
The truth is that it is unperformance and has a horrible sound, typical of diesel engines, but it is true that its consumption can be ridiculous for a vehicle of such size and weight.
Anyway, here I leave the thread in case some colleague shares mechanics with me and we can exchange experiences.
At the moment I share a catch of the only good thing that a CLE fed with Diesel has.
Admittedly, you like to see a range of 1,400 km when you fill the tank with 66 liters of fuel
For what it is worth - I typically get 31-33 mpg on my long freeway trips in my CLE AMG 53. I set the speed at 78 and 83 since the speedometer reads low to actual speeds.

Diesels are cool, I don't care what platform you're running. I don't have any anymore, because our use case doesn't support it, however they are a solid choice.
