I just purchased a 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE 450 fully loaded AMG Line from Korea, and the car should arrive next week by boat. I have a few concerns regarding recalls, as I believe the car was used as a demo vehicle — it has around 2,000 km on the odometer.
Is there a way to tell from the car's system itself whether it has gone through any recall fixes or software updates? I asked the shipper, who checked with the dealer, and they confirmed that no recall service was performed on the vehicle — which has me a little anxious.
I also suspect that the remaining 1 year and 9 months of warranty may not be valid at Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the Middle East. If anyone has experience with this, any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. also is there a way to tell if the car needs programming incase the batter was removed ?

Looking at the front view,I don’t think this is an AMG grill. More info needed.
hey ! Amg line does not have the amg53 grill ! But theres tiny rear spoiler . Car is Lower than reguler cle , front bumper is even different , minimum 20 inch wheels etc ! Interior is fully loaded ... byw i already purchased maxxtom front lip lets see how this looks here ! Its sad i wished if theres 450 with 53 body flare version that would be dope !
since i read you own an rs5 ill give you a better example .. the AMG LINE IS Equivlant of S5 not RS5 ok ?
Actually op, amg line is only on regular non 43,45,53,63 models, ie. Cle 300, 450 (so 3 numbers followed by model) it is mainly a styling package with certain customizations such as revised front and rear bumper, brush aluminum pedals, some have upgraded perforated brakes, others have some sporty sound through speakers, amg branded floor mats, amg style steering wheel, no actual performance improvements. The purpose is to look sportier than the base model. It was called sport package before now amg line. OTOH since audi was mentioned amg line is equivalent to audi a5 s-line not s5 as s5 competes with the c 43. Hope that clears things up.

you are correct but i was comparing CLE models to the A5 S5 the reason i said S5 because the 450 has the 53amg engine in a way just how the S5 RS5 have similar engines yet more tuned . i personally wouldn't compare V6 engine to C43. i was just trying to deliver the idea to the guy.

Gotcha but ya i mentioned c 43 because they compare in a similar price bracket although I should had mentioned S4 because c 43 was the sedan, cle 53 is a coupe. audi also recently made it confusing with the a5 sport back making it with 4 doors, while the a4 exists then they started the odd vs even number thing for electric and ice. I guess that is why i am not an audi fan. Anyways, the facelift W206 likely will get the C 53 treatment replacing the outgoing C 43 to be Euro7 compliant. Good call on both cle 450 and cle 53 having the M256 but there are some differences, for one there is no supercharger in the cle 450 and there is in the cle 53 as well as the version in the cle 53 is the m256m not just regular m256. Hope that helps clear things up.
