Suggestions for new car exterior and interior wash & clean
Hi all
i have a pretty silver color 6 month old CLE. Its lightly driven so far. Was curious what sort of vehicle cleaning places folks take their vehicles
to, if not doing on their own?
I live in east bay, in Pleasanton, in northern california.

I hand wash all my nice cars that feature PPF wrap and ceramic coating. My Sun Yellow 2025 CLE AMG 53 is completely PPF wrapped and ceramic coated. (the body color roof section was covered in black PPF).
I am however also looking for a wash service that I would trust with my vehicles as I am getting more tired washing them myself.
I suggest looking for a hand washing service as they typically cater to nicer cars. They usually are part of an automotive detail shop not your typical drive through establishment.
BTW - I grew up in the East Bay - Pittsburg.

I wash my CLE by hand about once a month. Several people on this board have had issues with plastic bits breaking during commercial car wash tunnels. I'd rather not risk it.
Once a year I have a mobile detailing service I've used and I trust come to my house and do a full exterior hand wash, clay and wax.
I take my wife's car to the commercial car wash but I'll never hear the end of it if there is an issue....
