Working on having a kit made currently. Let me know how many are interested...how wide...what tire size...aggresive or elegant and I'll let you all know as we get closer to distribution. It's too soon for pricing but I'll see if we can get a ballpark number for you.

The factory DTM kit would be just fine. Sadly decent photos are very rare since the car was in circulation for a short time only and then only in small numbers.

Mostly W208 images ...... acutally scale models. I wonder how rare the bodywork is.

My friends car has the same motor, seats and roll cage. Just AMG.

The body kit on the above pics were made by AMG for the race teams only (I believe...not positive) I have been thinking though...because of the rear suspension geometry, one of two things MIGHT have to happen

1- to run a 19 or 20x12 rim, you may need to trim the existing quarters. You have to roll the lips for some of the wide rims now so imagine pushing the outside of the rim 2-3 inches OUTSIDE the rear fenderwell.

2- make a kit that is only 1-2-3 inches wider and not trim the rear quarter but then the top of the rim is sunken in.

I personally dont mind trimming the rear fenders. A good bodyshop could really do a nice install. Like I said before, when we get closer to making the actual kits, we'll post preliminary pics...they're coming 208/209

white and whiter
don't forget to make the car 2 inch of the ground while you are at it.

the DTM car is complete different under the skin. the body panels don't even work on the regular w208 because all the mounting points are different. if you want the widebody look like that the only way is to customize it.

Hey Chappy,

The kits will be made of GFRP. I think we will make the 208 kits differntly unless everyone wants the 209 style. The ones being made for the 209 will resemble the CLK DTM AMG street version thats being sold. I was thinking of something that didnt have the big "vents" on the rear quarters. What do you think?

Thumbs up

i think if you buy replica
you must know that replica is not 100% sure fit
there still be some minor modification
but you still end up cheaper then buying the authentic kits

I bought Brabus kits W211
I fit them to my car!
Amazing~
minor modification
but i save alot of $$$ from Fergus autoblz.com And Felix his bro
these two guys are amazing~
good customer service
well i said these things not to bOot Lick
but based on my experienced , it is very very good
Two thumbs up for this Two guys!

Craig, Hopefully the kits will turn your renntech beast to be monster BALLER!!haha
Btw some guys who bought the kits from me long time ago are totally different materials..
once you get the kits.. take a photoshoot and let them see..
try to call you 9.30am friday morning to your office and cell...nobody pick up the phone...still sleeping huh?hahahha

For more information regarding the fittment Issues:

Cant compare the labour in USA and my Country..if its in my country(indonesia) i can charge you USD$400 dollars only for fittment and paint job and you will be happy and happier like BIRD ...But as for in USA so expensive..cant blame it anyway!different country different methods of they charge for the labour..

but tell the truth: Fiberglass or FRP or GPFRP are 100% repairable(unless you hit the bulldozer)..and as for the fittment iisues,as you long you guys can find a good bodyshop and they can help you by reducing the labour cost..then it will be great!!
I didnt said that the Replica kits will not have any fittment issues.Right now My company try so hard to solve the main issues(fittment problem) like sending my own mercedes benz such W211.W210.W209,W202,W203,W124,W215,W140.W220(let me know if there is somebody can sent their own company cars to be strip away for the sake of fittment problems????) to make sure all the kits are going to fitt finely and perfectly when reach to my customers. That I promise!!!

Thank you very much for your time guys

Hey Dronellis, i emailed your company a while back about your AMG kit asking if it is possible to order AMG sides, AMG rear, but a Carlsson front instead of the AMG. I saw your AMG kit for $799 and thought that looked pretty fair, could i substitute a carlsson front for the AMG one? Never got a response, still would like to know if you can tell me.
