Are the CLK430 Coupe and Cabrio sway bars different?

Because when you look up sways for the cabrio, eibach etc.. does not have them, they are saying the suspension is different? does anyone know if they will still fit the cabrio?

No i think its bull****. I just installed H and R springs from a clk430 coupe on my 320 cab and here is the result. The springs were the exact same, but I have learned that the rear springs are a higher spring rate in the cab, since theres 600 lbs of extra weight in the back. This made my rear a little low but I like the look of it!

The swaybars I think are the exact same. My freinds CLK was up on the lift, (also a 320) and the supsension looked identical.

Well the sway bar connects to the endlink, which connects independantly at each control arm. I looked at my friends car and its identical.

The cabrio has underbody bracing that are thick metal bars that just form an X to brace teh bottom of the suspension. These dont change the suspension configuration tho, these bars are just placed under the subframes I guess since the car doesnt have a roof. once those are taken off, everything looks the same.

Oh yeah, a while back I was going to order the sway bars in like 2001. I was talking to Ben Kleinberg at hte time, I think from evo sport, and I asked him if they would work, I told him I had a convertible and he assured me it would. I never did order them tho
